Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 1, 2026

FactVerse stores only the information required to produce educational videos and operate social-media connections explicitly authorized by the account owner. This may include video metadata, production and quality records, publication states, platform account identifiers, and OAuth credentials issued by a connected platform.

How information is used

Connected-platform credentials are used only to authenticate the selected account and perform the upload, publication, crosspost-verification, or analytics action initiated by the user. FactVerse does not use a connection to publish unrelated content.

Storage and security

OAuth tokens and platform secrets are stored in private server-side or local secret storage. They are not delivered to the public website, exposed in public dashboards, or committed to the public source repository. Production evidence is retained to prevent duplicate actions and document approvals.

Third-party services

Information is sent only to providers required for the requested workflow, such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and explicitly configured media-production services. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy policies. FactVerse does not sell personal data.

Retention and user control

Platform tokens are retained while the connection is needed. Users may revoke access in the relevant platform settings and request deletion of locally held credentials and associated operational records. Some minimal integrity records may be retained where needed to prevent duplicate publication.

Privacy questions and deletion requests can be submitted through the FactVerse contact channel.
